Update on the move

Ok, so we have scheduled the Uhaul for the 16th of Aug. According to our driving plan we should be in La Grande by the 21st of Aug. This is perfect actually because Amaya's b-day is the 22nd. We probably won't have a party on her b-day but soon after that. Also, we are thinking about a campout over labor day weekend. I don't want anyone to feel pressure to make the trip to La Grande, but if anyone wants to come I think it would be fun. I don't know where we are going to camp because I left that up to Dad, but I am sure it's within driving distance and isn't a hiking thing, I hope!!! So, Todd, Craig, Staci and families if you can't afford to come don't worry about it cause we will have plenty of time to see each other over the next two years. Maybe we could plan something more concrete for Thanksgiving???? Anyway, these are the plans thus far.....

The Rasheed's are on the move again

This time back to La Grande. Although Dad and Dixie do not know yet they will be having house guests soon. Aqeel and I have received revelation that he needs to go back to school to get his MBA and that we need to move back to La Grande. Luckily EOU has started an MBA program. So, if Dad and Dixie don't mind we will be living with them while Aqeel goes back to school and substitute teaches to make ends meet.

We are soooo excited and we will see all of you before Sept. 1st!!!!

What were up to

Hey all! I hope people are actually reading this. Anyway, life over here has been quite interesting. Summer has started and it's really hot here! The humidity is exhausting. I try not to ever go outside unless I have somewhere to go, like to the pool in our subdivision! I started a summer calendar full of activites for the ladies in our ward. It has been fun so far, but there hasn't been a very good turn out. Oh well. Here's some pool footage....

Amaya just remembered that she could swim last year, but still won't go far from the steps or the wall.

Jr wants nothing to do with me or the pool. Earlier he was jumping in. I guess he got over it!
